Job Summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Mathematics Instructor to teach developmental mathematics, applied/technical mathematics, college algebra, and calculus. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to teaching, working with a diverse population, and the community and technical college mission.

Job Duties:
  • Instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester
  • Responsible for student guidance-advising activities, internal and institutional service, external and community service, professional development activities, and educational leadership
  • Assignment may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mathematics or Master's with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate mathematics
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication/relationship-building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to teach in a professional, enthusiastic, and organized manner to reach as many students as possible
  • Proficient computer skills
