Job Title: 9-12 Math Teacher

Bladen County Schools is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated 9-12 Math Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary:

The 9-12 Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, and will be able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
  • North Carolina teaching certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Physical Demands:

The 9-12 Math Teacher will be required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, write, and operate a computer for extended periods of time. The teacher may also be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
