Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dietary Aide to join our team at Gilroy Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with food preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

• Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook with meal preparation and food service tasks.
• Help with setting up meal service, maintaining food carts, and delivering meal trays to patients.
• Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, sterilizing countertops, and washing and cleaning cooking equipment and utensils.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and food waste according to facility regulations.
• Prep food supplies for the next meal and follow all safety regulations and precautions at all times.
