Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dietary Aide to join our team at Gilroy Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by providing exceptional food service and support.

• Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and Cook in food preparation, processing, and delivery to patients.
• Help prepare meals that meet patient dietary needs and are visually appealing.
• Set up meal service, maintain food carts, and deliver meal trays in a timely manner.
• Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up.
• Keep work areas clean, including sweeping and mopping floors, sterilizing countertops, and washing and cleaning equipment and utensils.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and food waste according to facility regulations.
• Prepare food supplies for the next meal and follow all safety regulations and precautions.
