Job Summary

The Director of Biomedical Technical Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the technical services team at Innovative Renal Care. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to optimize technical operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the technical services team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of biomedical technical services.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize technical operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the technical services team, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership and management to drive strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of technical services, including product recall information, corporate purchase orders, and product cost analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and technical policies, procedures, and documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in technical services management within the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for experience in dialysis operations.
  • 5+ years as a Regional Manager of Technical Services or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of AAMI Guidelines, State-specific, and Federal Medicare Regulations pertaining to dialysis clinic operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to optimize technical operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
