About the RoleThe Operations Manager will play a critical role in shaping Alto's strategy and helping to solve some of our most pressing challenges. As an early member of our high-energy team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization. You will work closely with senior leaders across Field Operations, Product & Engineering, and the Commercial Organizations to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Run Day-to-Day Operations: Manage people, data, and fleet management tools to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop Future Leaders: Mentor and develop team members to take on leadership roles.
- Lead Strategic Projects: Analyze and solve Alto's most pressing strategic challenges.
- Collaborate with Functional Leads: Work with senior leaders to design and implement strategic initiatives.
- Drive Innovation: Bring game-changing ideas to the table and build new processes.
- Foster a Data-Driven Culture: Work with Strategy & Operations analysts to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Build Functional Expertise: Develop expertise across the organization and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Identify Opportunities: Continuously identify areas for improvement and help manage the department's roadmap.
- Ensure Team Success: Work closely with all office personnel to ensure teams are well-equipped and staffed properly.
- 5+ Years of Experience: Operations/strategy, transportation & logistics, or related experience preferred.
- 3+ Years of People Leadership: Experience leading teams preferred.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Experience working with data and analytics.
- Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Builder Mentality: Product-oriented mindset and ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor's Degree: Required.
