Lead Educational Administrator

**Job Summary:**
Haverhill Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Educational Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Principal in the overall administration of our middle school.
**Responsibilities:**
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Principal, providing guidance and support in implementing the instructional philosophy, goals, and objectives of the system and the building.
- Carry out administrative and supervisory duties as assigned by the Principal, making decisions necessary during their absence.
- Provide strong and visible leadership for curriculum, instruction, and assessment of student achievement, with a focus on instructional leadership.
- Work closely with building administrators to create an optimum learning climate that promotes positive student interactions, learning, and quality curriculum.
- Supervise and evaluate teachers and support staff according to our new evaluation module.
- Implement effective discipline and security policies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Assist the Principal in preparing mandated state and federal reports, maintaining accurate records and monitoring student progress.
- Procure substitutes for teachers, support personnel, and custodians, ensuring seamless coverage.
- Attend, conduct, and/or supervise after-school and evening activities as directed by the Principal.
- Assist the Principal with budget preparation, allocating resources effectively to support student success.
- Participate in the staff selection process, contributing to the growth and development of our teaching staff.
- Support professional development, curriculum, and instruction, enhancing student outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Principal/Assistant Principal -5-8.
- Minimum of a Master's Degree with graduate work in Educational Administration, Curriculum Development, Supervision, and/or Evaluation.
- Demonstrate at least five years of successful experience as a teacher at the elementary school level.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on education, experience, and location.
