Job Title: CNA/CMA Instructor

Job Summary:

Colby Community College is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) instructor and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) instructor to teach a class in various service areas. The successful candidate will have a current Kansas RN license with no pending or current disciplinary actions, and a minimum of two years of full-time licensed experience. Additionally, they must have one year of experience in a long-term care setting or completed seven hours of professional continuing education on person-centered care. The instructor will be responsible for teaching nurse aide training courses and supervising nurse aides.

Responsibilities:

* Teach nurse aide training courses
* Supervise nurse aides
* Develop and implement curriculum
* Evaluate student performance

Requirements:

* Current Kansas RN license
* Minimum of two years of full-time licensed experience
* One year of experience in a long-term care setting or completed seven hours of professional continuing education on person-centered care
* Ability to teach adults
