Job Opportunity

Colby Community College is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) instructor and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) instructor to teach classes in various service areas.

Responsibilities
  • Teach CNA and CMA classes to students in a part-time capacity.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the college.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and college staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Current Kansas RN license with no pending or current disciplinary actions.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time licensed experience.
  • One year of experience in a long-term care setting, or completed seven hours of professional continuing education on person-centered care.
  • Supervising nurse aides, or completed a course in adult education or professional continuing education offering supervision or adult education.
Benefits

$650 per credit hour. $3,250 for a 5-credit hour CNA class of up to 10 students; $2,600 for a 4-credit CMA class size of up to 6 students.
