Job Opportunity at Colby Community College

We are seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) instructor and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) instructor to teach classes in various service areas.

Responsibilities
  • Teach CNA and CMA classes to students in a hands-on laboratory and training facility.
  • Supervise nurse aides and provide guidance on adult education and professional continuing education.
  • Meet regulations for course supervisors and instructors, including completion of a course in teaching adults or experience teaching adults.
Requirements
  • Kansas RN license with no pending or current disciplinary actions.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time licensed experience.
  • One year of experience in a long-term care setting, or completed seven hours of professional continuing education on person-centered care.
What We Offer
  • $650 per credit hour.
  • $3,250 for a 5-credit hour CNA class of up to 10 students; $2,600 for a 4-credit CMA class size of up to 6 students.
