Job Title: Neurologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Neurologist to join our team at the Richmond VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. As a Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general neurology, with a preference for inpatient consultation. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The role requires a combination of inpatient consultative and outpatient neurology care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a full range of general neurology services, including assessment and treatment of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as part of our academic affiliation with the Medical College of Virginia.
  • Share and rotate call responsibilities with other neurology physicians in the service.
  • Collaborate with mid-level providers and physician colleagues to ensure clear communication and documentation.
  • Work a combination of on-site and remote telework, with proficiency in evaluation and management of patients through in-person and virtual telehealth visits.
