Opportunity for a Veterinary Neurologist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Neurologist to join our team at Stafford Brooks Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological diseases or disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological diseases or disorders
  • Collaborate with the ER and other departments to provide and receive support
  • Perform scheduled appointments, including imaging, procedures, and/or surgeries
  • Consult with other departments, including the ER

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Board-certification or residency-trained in Neurology
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Virginia and/or Maryland
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and pet families
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Clinical experience in emergency medicine or general practice, or completion of a rotating or specialty internship
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
