Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful candidate will provide patient care, engage in medical student and neurology resident education, and participate in clinical research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on movement disorders.
  • Teach medical students and housestaff, developing and leading conferences on movement disorders.
  • Participate in clinical research and clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  • Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and University committees, as well as in professional capacities such as reviewer and conference organizer.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
  • Completion of an accredited Movement Disorders Fellowship.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Independently funded research program.
