The Keller Group is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to support various aspects of the design process used to manufacture high-quality custom pieces in the tradeshow industry. This is a full-time, on-site position, requiring a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

CAD Engineer Responsibilities & Skillsets:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret business needs and create customized concepts, sketches, and 3D designs for a variety of projects/campaigns
  • Prepare detailed drawings of pieces, parts, and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist in the preparation of CAD files for submission phases, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Adjust, edit, and rework CAD models to meet design esthetics and functionality expectations, working closely with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate and adhere to project timelines and status, managing shifting priorities and ensuring seamless project execution
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining design shared files, ensuring easy access and collaboration among team members
  • Develop strategies and proactive resolutions to any potential obstacles related to project deliverables, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Utilize various CAD programs to create detailed drawings, plans, and schematics, incorporating dimensions, annotations, and other technical information
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and thrive working in a high-volume environment, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time, Monday-Friday, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits

CAD Engineer Required Skills:

  • Proficient use of CAD / Rhino Software, with experience in creating detailed drawings and plans
  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Suite, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to proactively make decisions and troubleshoot issues, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable working on-site full-time, with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities
