Quality Management System ESD Compliance Specialist

NVIDIA is seeking a Quality Management System engineer with strong ESD compliance knowledge to establish and maintain laboratory standards to our customers' requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management principles along with customer requirements.
  • Be the focal point for laboratory compliance related topics, including Calibration, ESD, MSA, Competence, and Training.
  • Establish and improve applicable procedures for ESD, Calibration, and Lab Management.
  • Support and conduct internal/external laboratory audits.
  • Work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance.
  • Generate, review, and communicate lab metrics to management.
  • Participate in corrective actions and ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Start continuous improvement programs based on the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) methodology.
  • Perform gap analysis of customer requirements and leading industry standards to NVIDIA's Quality Management System.
  • Craft, maintain, and deliver training material.
  • Mentor and support the QMS to all levels of the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of ESD experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001:2016 and ESD protection industry standards: JESD625 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
  • Ability to effectively handle assigned projects and present information and results to management and internal customers.
  • Strong skills in organizing, analyzing, negotiating, and relationship building across diverse multifunctional groups.
  • Dedication to solving problems in a timely manner.
  • Self-motivated and good social skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of ISO 17025, IATF 16949, and ISO 26262.
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • Experience with 5S methodology or equivalent.
  • ASQ certified quality auditor (CQA) and/or engineer (CQE).
