About the Opportunity

The Serial Number Stamping Operator is responsible for imprinting serial numbers on panels in accordance with standard operating procedures and production traveler instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work instructions on the Traveler to confirm part number, job number, lot quantity, and legend ink type; ensure that the previous operation is completed, signed, and dated on the Traveler.
  • Utilize DosBox software to retrieve the tool number; verify part number, quantity, and revision against the traveler; document the system-generated serial number.
  • Check the shelf life of ID ink prior to use; mix according to the mix ratio table as outlined in the SOP.
  • Employ the appropriate stamp to serialize the components.
  • Heat panels following the bake and cure table as per SOP.
  • Conduct visual inspections of panels and perform tape testing to confirm that serial numbers are accurately stamped without lifting.
  • Notify the Team Leader of any non-conformances.
  • Sign and date the traveler, log the job out on ProCIM, and transition the order to the next process.
  • Assist in training new personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as travelers, standard operating procedures, instructions, and safety regulations in English to effectively perform the job.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Capable of maintaining focus with minimal interruptions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience in a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment preferred.

Please note that the role involves frequent standing and walking, as well as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds; it also requires keyboard/ten key handling and repetitive hand motions.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as needed
  • Weekends as required

Shift Available:

1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

California Pay Range: $16—$17 USD

The actual compensation offered is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
