Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with other shifts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Display proficiency in various maintenance categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
