Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist III to join our team at the County of San Bernardino, CA. As a lead position, this role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of radiologic technologists in the performance of radiologic procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and patient care.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
  • Department of Public Health Fluoroscopy permit.
  • Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of experience as a Lead Radiologic Technologist or Supervising Technologist.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and other hazardous materials. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move equipment as needed, and work in a variety of settings, including operating rooms and emergency departments.
