Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures. You will work closely with our team of physicians and registered nurses to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Administer intravenous and oral contrast media
  • Observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection
  • Work in a fast-paced trauma center environment
Requirements
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computerized Tomography (CT)
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Venipuncture Certification for contrast media
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or six months of supervised Computerized Tomography (CT) clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing CT scans in a trauma center environment
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced trauma center environment. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality patient care.
