The Behavioral Health Technician will provide patient care and support services in a dynamic and compassionate environment. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and promoting a safe and healthy environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care activities, including ADLs, personal cares, and encouraging self-care.
- Provide comfort measures and emotional support to clients/patients whose condition is stable and/or predictable.
- Contribute to the assessment of health status, including interactions with family members or group members.
- Participate in the development of the plan of care for individuals.
- Document and communicate client/patient responses and completion of assigned/delegated activities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one full month from date of hire.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required within six full months from date of hire.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
