Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

Midtown Health Center Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide evidence-based psychological services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and treatment. You will work collaboratively with our primary care team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Consult with and advise other healthcare team members on methods to assist patients and their families in overcoming social and emotional difficulties.
  • Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases.
  • Facilitate access to other behavioral health services programs as indicated.
  • Maintain open communication with care providers, patients, and their family members to address emergencies.
  • Stay current on the latest treatments by conducting research and attending conferences.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited or equivalent doctoral program.
  • At least two years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Nebraska, or provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska with the ability to obtain a license in 24 months required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes.

  • Ability to work varied and extended hour scheduling as requested.
  • Ability to work in a smoke-free and drug-free work environment.
