Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Assistant to deliver exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in medication distribution, ensuring the highest quality of service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the prescribed healthcare plan, ensuring seamless execution of medication administration.
  • Administer medications to residents according to the prescribed schedule, maintaining accurate records.
  • Authorize and administer PRN medications, adhering to state standards and regulations.
  • Document all PRN administrations, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and report any reactions or side effects of medication administered, ensuring resident safety.
  • Take and record vital signs of residents, as required, prior to medication administration.
  • Prepare and administer regularly prescribed medications, adhering to established protocols.
Requirements
  • Meet or exceed required training and certification standards, including medication aide certification and CPR.
  • Minimum one year of related experience or equivalent formal education/training preferred.
  • Proficient ability to speak, read, and write English, with a strong understanding of arithmetic and grammar.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, adhere to patient rights, and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, walk, and stand for prolonged periods, with occasional bending and reaching.
