Water Resources Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Project Engineer to collaborate with our expert team on cutting-edge projects in stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, culvert and bridge design, and resiliency efforts.
This role will play a key part in delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that drive sustainable development in water resources, ecological restoration, transportation, and environmental projects.
Responsibilities- Lead tasks under the supervision of the project manager on multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, stormwater design or water quality focus, including interaction with staff and clients.
- Prepare and review stormwater management and natural system design drawings and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, plans and specifications.
- Develop project proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates.
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with them.
- Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional aspects.
- Responsible for project task management, including task financial performance.
- BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional water resources engineering and analysis experience.
- Experience preparing design plans & specifications, and preparing technical reports.
- Experience with task management and people management/mentoring.
- Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater policy and permitting preferred.
- EIT/PE licensure preferred.
- Proficiency with relevant software including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
