Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Work within a product development engineering team focused on designing electrical connectors for the automotive industry.
  • Utilize various solid modeling and finite element analysis software packages to develop product concepts.
  • Work with product documentation such as solid models, drawings, product and application specifications, tolerance analysis, and test plans & reports.
  • Gain experience with failure prevention and analysis tools.
  • Support validation testing to prove new designs.
  • Develop communication skills while working with cross-functional product launch teams.
Requirements
  • Have a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or other related engineering major
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
