The Director of the Plant Research Laboratory will lead a team of researchers in the study of photosynthetic organisms, overseeing the formulation and implementation of collaborative research activities, providing scientific leadership, and fostering a unified community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of collaborative research activities

  • Oversee the administration of the Plant Research Laboratory
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a closely related field
  • Sustained record of achievement in the study of photosynthetic organisms
  • Aptitude for leading scientific and administrative teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in leading multi-PI grants or new initiatives
  • Support for training in and nourishing interdisciplinary approaches
