Quality Assurance Director

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality assurance efforts at Innomotics LLC. As the Quality Assurance Director, you will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance systems to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and implement quality improvement activities
  • Educate and train employees on quality management systems
  • Develop and integrate a Quality Management System for manufacturing plants
  • Lead problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Interact with plant quality control and R&D personnel to ensure product compliance
  • Support concurrent engineering efforts by representing quality assurance
  • Establish and implement process control and improvement procedures
  • Develop process certification standards and assist in process certification
  • Monitor vendor performance and establish criteria for critical vendors
  • Review customer purchase orders and contracts to ensure quality criteria are included
  • Perform root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities
  • Analyze customers' product specifications to establish manufacturing requirements
  • Supervise calibration and testing programs
  • Review suppliers' purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or business administration or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in QA systems implementation and management in a medium-size manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma black-belt certification
