Director of Rehabilitation Job Description

At Autumn Care of Fayetteville, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will be responsible for organizing, developing, managing, and directing the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to return residents to optimal physical function
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve resident, physician, and therapy goals
  • Participate in community planning and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions
  • Provide consultation to staff and community agencies to solve resident needs and problems
  • Recruit, train, and supervise rehabilitation staff to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapist granted from the state of North Carolina
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation services, with experience in PDPM preferred
