Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for our unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition.
  • Notify attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit.
  • Implement orders of changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified.
