About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Design Lead to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for defining design strategy and driving the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

With a strong background in SaaS, AI, and machine learning products, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our next-generation orchestration platform. Your expertise in designing for complex and data-driven applications will be invaluable in helping us bring efficiency to material handling workflows through software, robotics, and hardware solutions.

As a UX Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading design standards, partnering with product managers across multiple products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that meet business goals and user needs.

We are looking for a talented designer who can balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints. If you have a passion for designing innovative solutions and a strong understanding of design thinking and lean UX methodologies, we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities
  • Advocate for the user experience in all discussions, ensuring that the user's voice is heard and considered in product decisions.
  • Create a scalable product design process, from early research and hypothesis to defining requirements, creating user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
  • Own UX from beginning to end, ensuring that product/feature is built to spec and achieves project goals.
  • Elevate the visual design through the customer experience to drive higher engagement.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams across design, product, engineering, and management.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and Magna executives, effectively communicating design rationale and decisions.
