Job Overview

INSIDE SALES POSITION

This role involves working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team to deliver exceptional service to both new and existing clients, aligning with the company's strategic objectives and sales targets. The position is accountable to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage walk-in clients, respond to phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and address product-related questions.
  • Assess and interpret customer requirements based on provided specifications and material lists.
  • Generate precise quotes and clarify details regarding products, including special order timelines and delivery estimates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding quotes and confirmed orders.
  • Conduct sales visits to job sites as necessary.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to quoting, sales, shipping, receiving, and overall customer support.
  • Ensure timely procurement of products and coordinate with Operations/Warehouse.
  • Keep an updated weekly log of quotes and sales activities.
  • Participate in training sessions for product knowledge, both in-house and with external vendors.
  • Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and respect when interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Engage in special projects and tasks as directed by management to enhance customer base and sales performance.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Electrical Materials is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment with tight deadlines and manage a substantial workload.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
