Job Title: Senior CAD Technician

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Technician to join our Water sector team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering drawings for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD models and drawings
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in CAD technology
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or Associate degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
