Position Overview:

MV Transportation is on the lookout for a dedicated Transportation Operations Supervisor who will provide essential support, leadership, and guidance to the designated operational site, ensuring the successful execution of annual business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will oversee the daily operations of our transportation services, ensuring adherence to the policies of the contracting agency and alignment with company protocols. The primary duties include:
  • Managing on-time performance and driver availability effectively.
  • Overseeing all call center operations.
  • Enhancing customer relations through direct engagement and outreach initiatives.
  • Identifying, recruiting, training, and mentoring site personnel.
  • Maintaining open and frequent communication with staff and support teams.
  • Assisting in the management of safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory standards.
  • Contributing to the promotion of a safety-oriented culture within the division.
  • Regularly engaging with clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Conducting periodic audits of departmental operations.
  • Reviewing key operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Implementing and upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Participating in labor and employee relations activities at the location.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • 1 to 3 years of management experience in a comparable paratransit setting.
  • Experience in scheduling, personnel management, and training is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with contractual obligations is essential for effective job performance.
  • Understanding of company policies to ensure consistent evaluation of driver activities.
  • Experience with Trapeze software is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The starting pay range for this position is $32/hour - $37.40/hour.
