Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the surgical services unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Manage the department's budget and resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement in patient care services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required.
- Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
- Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred.
Annual salary ranges from $134,000 to $162,000 commensurate with experience.
