Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Fortive Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated and semi-automated design characterization tests and reliability tests, including test planning, test development and release, test execution and reports.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the reliability of ASP capital equipment and ASP's reliability processes.
  • Apply design for reliability techniques, including design margin analysis, tolerance stack-up analysis, components derating, reliability calculations.
  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to enable better decision making.
  • Perform Failure Analyses and Investigation reports and related risk management tools to enable tradeoff discussions.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment including service, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Perform lab audits, and manages lab organization, cleanliness, and supplies.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level, and advocates for decision making and process designs that coincide with Design for Reliability Principles.
  • Provides technical support for outside suppliers, vendors, and/or consultants as required, inclusive of supplier visits and identification / implementation of process improvements.
  • May coordinate testing with outside testing laboratories (NRTL testing, environmental testing, HALT testing, etc.).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $79,700.00 - $147,900.00, as well as a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
