Responsibilities- Administer gowning and garb procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination
- Conduct fingertip sampling to assess contamination risks and monitor cleanliness of compounding equipment
- Execute media-fill tests to evaluate aseptic technique and verify sterile procedures
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to develop strategies for compliance and improve quality and safety
- Provide training and education to pharmacy personnel on USP standards and sterile compounding procedures
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams focused on quality improvement and patient safety
- 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- 2 years of experience in area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration
- TSBP Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Technician
- STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT certification accredited by ACPE
- BLS course accredited by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- National certification as a Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician
