Join DSP Connections, Inc as a Direct Support Professional

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at DSP Connections, Inc. Our organization is committed to providing support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, empowering them to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, promoting their independence, community integration, and overall well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring clients receive the necessary support to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with the I/DD community or 1-year caregiving experience or related experience.
  • CPR/First Aid Training within 30 days of hire (training opportunities provided).
  • Reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Able to transport clients in personal vehicles for community outings, errands, and more.
  • Smart Phone.

Work Schedule:
  • Weekend Part-time.
  • Swing shifts (late afternoon and evenings).
  • Part-time Day Shifts (mid mornings).
