We are seeking highly skilled Airframe and Powerplant Technicians to join our team at our Melbourne, Florida facility.

Position Summary:

As an A&P Technician at STS Aviation Services, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on commercial and large regional aircraft. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • At least 24 months of experience working as an A&P Technician in a MRO or line maintenance environment
  • Valid A&P license required
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and schedules
  • Ability to obtain an airport badge
  • Full set of applicable tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary badging
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a team environment
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals
