Nursing Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Attendant to join our Central Nursing Service team on a day shift schedule. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including toileting, positioning, and comfort measures, under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment, including removing excessive furniture, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist with supply and equipment management, including maintaining cleanliness of utility rooms and pantries.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including errands, relieving other units, and assisting other members of the healthcare team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Attendant program or minimum 6 months relevant experience.
- BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
