Critical Care Transport Specialist

About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Transport Specialist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Pediatric Emergency Response Team, you will provide exceptional care and transportation services to critically ill patients, including neonates, pediatric, and adult patients.
">Responsibilities:
">- Critical Care Transport: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients, ensuring their safe transport to receiving facilities.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare teams to problem-solve, implement treatment modalities, and maximize patient outcomes.
- Patient Advocacy: Demonstrate commitment and dedication to patients and families, maintaining confidentiality and advocating on their behalf.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with acceptance/enrollment in a BSN program.
- Licenses/Certifications: RN license, BLS certification, PALS certification, PASSPORT (US Passport/International Doc), NRP certification, ACLS certification, CNPT certification, CCRN certification.
- Experience: 3 years critical care experience in pediatric/neonatal intensive care settings or 3 years Pediatric Emergency Center experience in Level 1 trauma centers with CPEN certification.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
