About the Role:

The Project Coordinator will oversee various elements of our playground installation services while working from our corporate headquarters. This role is crucial for understanding our installation protocols and improving communication regarding project progress to clients and team members, ensuring a smooth installation process for playgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a proactive communication framework and timeline to relay essential information to customers and sales team members from order placement to project completion.
  • Collaborate closely with the Installation Coordinator and Playground Sales Representatives to comprehend project scope, involved vendors, and realistic completion timelines.
  • Analyze and refine operational workflows to accelerate the installation of playgrounds.
  • Engage with the sales team and clients to build strong relationships, address escalated issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Familiarize yourself with quoting software to enhance understanding of installation estimates and assist with quote preparation when necessary.
  • Monitor vendor shipping timelines for equipment and identify items with extended lead times that may impact scheduling, offering alternative options to customers.
  • Participate in training sessions and maintain daily updates in the CRM system.
  • Cross-train in various departmental functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of how each area contributes to the overall success of the company.
  • Identify potential subcontractors in specific regions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Project Management is required, with a preference for candidates with a background in sales or construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional customer service abilities are essential for collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership qualities.
  • Outstanding technical, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a goal-focused approach to project management.
  • Proactive decision-making skills and a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively to achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding project objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is preferred.

  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed based on business demands.
  • Minimal travel may be required for conferences or customer site visits to address installation issues.
