Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:
PAGNY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Correctional Health Services. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Review exam orders and consult with radiologists to schedule patients and arrange for transportation as needed.
- Identify patient information and document it in the RIS and on images (PACS).
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring proper protection from infectious diseases and materials.
- Perform general diagnostic imaging and routine examinations in CT and Angiography.
- Assist in performing daily checks of radiographic imaging equipment and maintain adequate stocks of supplies.
- Enter data and maintain documents and logs as required by department QA guidelines and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for patients and staff.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisory or administrative staff.
Requirements:
- Possession of a current valid license as a General Radiological Technologist issued by the State of New York.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologist.
- A current member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
