The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as the ability to effectively lead and supervise a team of production workers.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent product quality by following all SOPs and SSOPs.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Train, lead, and guide employees on essential aspects of the business, including quality, safety, sanitation, and productivity.
  • Adhere to all FDA health and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Implement and uphold HACCP/HARPC plan procedures.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and set a positive example for the team.
  • Prepare the production line and team for daily success and assist when needed.
  • Grasp equipment functionality and the systems governing production line operation.
  • Identify and remove out-of-specification products from the production line.
  • Monitor inventory of essential ingredients and notify the Warehouse Supervisor when levels are low.
  • Ensure proper storage of finished products.
  • Track attendance and breaks of employees in the designated work area.
  • Conduct daily quality inspections throughout the department.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties and adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in company manuals and the employee handbook.
Shift Requirements
  • Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Occasional Saturdays as needed based on production requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of consistent attendance and on-time performance.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, and work in confined spaces.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Understanding of HACCP/HARPC principles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
