Position Overview:

The Senior Risk Management Executive plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic vision and comprehensive oversight of the risk management sector.

This encompasses Clinical and Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Financing (both Commercial and Self-Insured programs), Claims Oversight, and Risk Data Management.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape, inclusive of operational processes and a wide-ranging operational viewpoint.

Moreover, this role demands a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented leader capable of collaborating effectively within a matrix structure alongside various team members and healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic direction of risk management initiatives.
  • Management of Clinical and Enterprise Risk.
  • Oversight of Risk Financing and Claims Management.
  • Data analysis and reporting related to risk management.

Essential Qualifications:
  • CPHRM, ARM, or CRM certification.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Healthcare Risk Management, Commercial Insurance Brokerage, or Medical Malpractice Litigation Management, with a preference for 15 years of experience in similar fields.

Required Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the operational environment within health systems.
  • Strong teamwork and delegation capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organizational and management proficiency.
  • Competence in relevant computer applications.
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory standards.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Florida Nursing License, Florida Insurance License, or Florida Adjuster License.
