Internship Overview:

This role is designed for individuals currently pursuing a two-year degree in an engineering discipline. The intern will be integrated into the Sustainable Solutions team, providing support for various operational tasks at the solar facility. Responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting site technicians and management with daily administrative functions.
  • Assisting qualified technicians in the maintenance and operational activities of the solar installation.
  • Collaborating with procedure writers to aid in the creation of maintenance documentation.
  • Providing assistance to the procurement team as needed.
Key Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a two-year engineering program with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.
  • Demonstrated leadership through effective decision-making.
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Previous experience in an engineering capacity.
Work Environment:
  • This position will be hybrid, involving both remote and on-site work after initial onboarding. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to a Deriva Energy facility.
