About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Baker and Packager Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and ensuring high-quality products for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  • Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicating effectively and being flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, smiling, greeting, and thanking members, while maintaining a clean and member-ready area.

As a Baker and Packager Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products.
