Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to enhance our team. This position is crucial as it represents the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing customer transactions and performing essential clerical duties such as answering phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Accurately process customer payments, whether in-person or over the phone, utilizing various payment methods (credit card, account, cash, or check).
- Input and verify order details, ensuring accuracy in account names, numbers, amounts, and payment types.
- Coordinate pick-up orders at the register, collaborating with the sales team to obtain necessary signatures.
- Compile and reconcile daily receipts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Distribute customer forms as required (credit applications, account setups, authorizations, etc.).
- Foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Monitor the cash drawer for accuracy and alert the accounting team if discrepancies arise.
- Maintain daily spreadsheets to track monetary transactions.
- Manage both paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring all accounts are accurate and resolving any payment discrepancies.
- Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked for team use.
- Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the customer experience.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role involving customer interaction and financial transactions, such as Cashier, Retail Associate, or Receptionist.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience handling high-value transactions across multiple payment methods.
- Strong mathematical and calculator skills are essential.
- Proven track record of achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Responsible, enthusiastic self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone demeanor.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with patience and courtesy.
- Team-oriented individual who is respectful and eager to assist others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
