You will also contribute to the entire lifecycle of a research project, from discovery to completion, and mentor junior researchers in developing their research practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead research teams through Gartner's proprietary research process, including hypothesis generation, primary and secondary research, and root cause analysis to identify best-in-class solutions.
- Drive key findings from complex datasets and develop analytically sound, logically ordered research pieces.
- Independently create and manage key research deliverables, including large research studies, white papers, case studies, presentations, and webinars.
- Conduct interviews with senior executives, academics, and industry experts to uncover innovative ideas.
- Develop practical and actionable insights grounded in clients' workflows.
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to present research findings and advance insights iteratively based on feedback.
- Mentor, develop, and motivate researchers across the project life-cycle.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Coding experience in R and advanced analytical methods preferred.
- Experience and comfort with analyzing, synthesizing, and distilling large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information.
- Strong appetite to dive deep into a given terrain to develop expertise and distill key findings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to organize information logically.
- Intellectual curiosity and dedication to mastering complex environments.
- Ability to manage projects and drive ideas forward to advance initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality material.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
