Job Summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our aggregate plant processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with machinery and perform preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Operate cranes, man-lifts, hoists, pneumatic, hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, welding equipment, and other specialty service equipment as needed
  • Order parts through the maintenance department or outside suppliers
  • Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times
  • Maximize performance of stationary equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy duty maintenance or equivalent combination of training and experience, preferably in the aggregates industry
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write and communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform duties in a safe manner
  • Self-starter with ability to work with little or no supervision
