Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Utility Operator to join our team at Martin Marietta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with plant operations, including production, quality control, loading, and shipping
  • Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain maintenance logs
  • Operate plant-specific mobile equipment, such as Bobcat, Kubota, RTV, etc.
  • Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures as set forth by Federal and State agencies and Company policies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-year equipment operation, plant operation, or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow directions
  • Dependable and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
