We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at 219 Health Network.

About the Role

This is a dynamic position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services in a clinic setting, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care services in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Assist providers with diagnostic procedures, patient procedures, and laboratory tests as required.
  • Perform front desk duties, including telephone work, patient scheduling, and ordering of supplies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and address any concerns or issues.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school required.
  • Current professional RN licensure by the State of Indiana required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience in order to acquire a thorough knowledge of scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, and develop skill in nursing techniques and the ability to adapt to techniques to individual patient needs.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care for all age groups and their family members.
  • Registered Nurse must maintain current CPR certification.
  • Organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the cost of living in the Munster, St. John, and Schererville areas, as well as the level of expertise required for the role.
